A leading Magic Circle law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its London practice.
The team advises banks, financial institutions, investors and sponsors on complex real estate financing transactions across the UK and internationally.
With a large and well-established platform and significant deal flow, the team is actively looking to strengthen its associate bench with high-quality lawyers interested in working on sophisticated real estate finance mandates.
- What You’ll Do
- Advise lenders and borrowers on a broad range of real estate finance transactions.
- Support acquisition financings, development financings and portfolio financings.
- Draft and negotiate finance documentation including facilities agreements, security documentation and intercreditor arrangements.
- Work closely with real estate, restructuring and corporate teams on multi-disciplinary transactions.
- Engage directly with clients while managing transaction workstreams with partner oversight.
About You
- England & Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent common law qualification).
- Experience in real estate finance gained at a leading City, Magic Circle or international firm.
- Strong technical grounding in finance documentation and deal execution.
- Experience advising lenders or borrowers on complex real estate financing structures.
- Commercially minded with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Motivated to develop within a collaborative and high-performing practice.

- Competitive compensation aligned with leading Magic Circle firms (NQ reference salary approximately £150,000).
- Salary progression aligned with PQE level (indicative range up to approximately £188,000+ for mid-level associates).
- Performance-related bonus linked to approximately 1,800 billable hours.
