  • Managing relationships with General Counsel and senior stakeholders at banks, building societies, FinTechs, and retail finance arms.

They are looking for an experienced and technically strong financial regulatory lawyer with:

  • 5+ years PQE gained at a leading City, national or international law firm, or a combination of private practice and in-house legal experience within a regulated financial institution.
  • Detailed and demonstrable knowledge of regulated lending and consumer credit, including the Consumer Credit Act 1974, FCA CONC, and mortgage regulation.
  • Strong track record in advising retail financial services providers on compliance, conduct risk, and product development.
  • Familiarity with regulated mortgage contracts, hire purchase agreements, and retail credit frameworks (including BNPL and digital lending models) is highly advantageous.
