A leading international law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join its Structured Credit team in London. The practice has an established reputation in the securitisation market, with particular strength in collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) and broader structured credit products. The team sits within a wider Structured Credit platform covering Derivatives, CLOs and Asset-Backed Finance, and associates are typically given exposure across the full spectrum of structured credit work rather than being limited to a single product area early in their careers. This opportunity is well suited to a 1-4 PQE associate who has developed meaningful experience in structured finance and is looking to deepen their technical expertise while working alongside highly regarded partners on complex and high-value transactions.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise on a range of structured finance and securitisation transactions, including CLOs and other structured credit products.
  • Support on the structuring, documentation and execution of complex cross-border structured credit deals.
  • Draft, review and negotiate key transaction documentation across structured finance transactions.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers on the origination, structuring and closing of transactions for major financial institutions and asset managers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across finance, derivatives, restructuring, tax and corporate teams to deliver integrated advice.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the broader structured credit market and the commercial drivers behind transactions.
  • Contribute to client relationship management and broader team initiatives where appropriate.
