A prestigious US law firm in London is inviting applications from exceptional Associates in Corporate Finance with a particular focus on Private Credit. This is a rare opportunity to join a market‑leading Banking & Finance practice at one of the most respected international firms in the City.

The firm’s Banking & Finance team is widely recognised for advising on some of the most high‑profile and complex financing transactions in the market. Working across a broad spectrum of domestic and international matters, the team advises global investment banks, alternative lenders, private equity sponsors, funds, and major corporates on:

• Leveraged and acquisition finance
• Sponsor‑led transactions
• Cross‑border syndicated lending
• Refinancing and recapitalisations
• Special situations and debt restructurings
• Private Credit funds

As part of a lean, high‑impact team, you will gain early responsibility and unparalleled exposure to cutting‑edge deals, often involving multiple jurisdictions and innovative financing structures. The group is known for its close collaboration with the firm’s elite private equity and restructuring teams, offering an integrated and commercial approach to deal‑making.

Key qualifications

• Outstanding academics (2:1 or above from a top university)
• Considerable 3–5 PQE at a top private practice firm
• A clear interest in working at the sharpest end of the legal market, with a strong desire to build a long‑term career in Banking & Finance
• Experience working on Private Credit matters
• Commercial acumen, attention to detail, and confidence working directly with high‑value clients
• The ambition and stamina to thrive in a fast‑paced, international practice
