Full‐time role based at Braintree Village, working 3 days per week and travelling to Clarks Village in Somerset two days a month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the Braintree Village and Clarks Village annual marketing strategy through media, social media, PR, events, promotions and digital growth initiatives.
  • Serve on a project team for centralised multi‐site promotions and campaigns across the Landsec portfolio.
  • Unlock key consumer insight and deliver core elements of the marketing plan, including hands‐on campaigns and tactical events with brands, cultural partners, BIDs, councils and tourism affiliates.
  • Lead hands‐on marketing across the two flagship retail destinations, including local PR, community partnerships and media plans.
  • Own and deliver the marketing strategy covering campaigns, promotions, social, PR, events and digital activity, building relationships with centre teams, agencies and brand partners.
  • Implement asset‐level branding and creative across wayfinding, POS, digital, PR, events and brand partner promotions.
  • Use consumer insight, performance data and KPIs to evaluate impact and inform planning, reporting to senior marketing.
  • Work closely with central teams, agencies and Digital Marketing Managers to deliver engaging digital, social and website content.
  • Act as guardian of both websites and PLUS+ content, ensuring accurate, timely and compelling listings and offers.
  • Build and maintain local PR activity, community partnerships and engage stakeholders to drive fame and engagement.
  • Support delivery of media plans, commercial events, brand experiences and promotions, ensuring operational excellence and H&S compliance.
  • Contribute to central, multi‐site campaigns and initiatives, collaborating with marketing, guest experience and community teams.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in B2C marketing, delivering integrated marketing campaigns, promotions and activations with clear, measurable ROI.
  • Strong experience in social media management and content creation, including content planning, curation, real‐time content gathering and copywriting across channels.
  • Proven event management and experiential marketing experience, including event ideation, planning, operational delivery, stakeholder coordination and post‐event evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting marketing performance data and consumer insight, including customer behaviour, campaign performance, brand awareness and destination KPIs.
  • Highly organised and collaborative professional with stakeholder management and business development experience, able to work cross‐functionally with internal teams, agencies and third‐party partners.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and digital platforms.

Salary: Competitive.
