Assistant Gardener in Reading

This leading award winning Landscaping contractor client is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Gardener to join the team full-time working on a 100 acre high spec residential site.\\n\\nAs the successful candidate you will have a good level of horticultural knowledge for the ongoing care and maintenance of beautifully designed, high-end private site in the Reading area.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n· Carry out regular maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, feeding, seasonal planting, and pest/disease control\\n\\n· Use and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently\\n\\n· Ensure all works are conducted safely and respectfully\\n\\n· Work collaboratively and professionally with team members\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n· Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in garden maintenance (estates preferred)\\n\\n· Good plant knowledge and strong horticultural skills\\n\\n· Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented\\n\\n· Able to work well independently and as part of a small team\\n\\n· Good communication\\n\\n· Physically fit and prepared to work in all weather\\n\\n· UK driving license preferred (not essential)\\n\\nWhat is offered:\\n\\n· Professional development and training opportunities\\n\\n· All tools, equipment provided\\n\\n· Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
