Join our client's growing engineering team. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Building Services Engineer to join our client's expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in building services maintenance to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout London.
As a Foot Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, servicing, and emergency call-outs on a wide range of mechanical and electrical building services equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Service and maintain building services equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and reliably.
- Complete routine inspections, maintenance reports, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and see works through to completion.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and company procedures.
- Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and building occupiers to maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Attend client meetings, site audits, inspections, and prepare reports when required.
- Proven experience within the Building Services or Facilities Maintenance sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
- Experience carrying out PPM duties on:
- AHUs (Air Handling Units)
- FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
- Pumps
- Water systems
- Legionella control and L8 compliance duties
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
