About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Mobile Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong mechanical maintenance experience to work across a varied portfolio of commercial buildings. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, servicing, and repairs on a range of mechanical building services systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Service and maintain pumps, pressurisation units, and other mechanical building services equipment.
- Complete routine inspections, maintenance reports, and certification documentation.
- Ensure all site logbooks and records are accurately completed and maintained.
- Work to planned maintenance schedules while responding to reactive breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, tenants, and site contacts.
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer within commercial buildings.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and certifications.
- Experience working on mechanical M&E systems.
- Knowledge of pumps, pressurisation units, and associated plant equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Desirable
- Experience within facilities management or building services environments.
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of compliance and safe systems of work within commercial buildings.
