Book Keeping & VAT Department
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch
Salary depends on experience
Our client is a very successful and extremely busy Accountancy based in the Romford area. They are currently seeking an experienced book keeper to join their team of book keepers.
Duties will include:
- Producing management accounts
- Quarterly financial reports
- VAT Returns for submission to HMRC
- Providing the firms accounts department with information they need to complete year end accounts
- Reviewing existing systems and suggesting ways to improve them
- Visiting new clients and introducing new packages to them
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of VT Transaction +; however, this is not essential.
MUST have experience of working in an accountancy practice.
MUST have knowledge of other book keeping systems.
Our client would like someone with an outgoing personality who is not afraid to visit clients and sell them the best packages from the accountancy. Someone flexible is also a must as you may be required to work outside of normal office hours to catch up when busy.
