Job Specification As a Gas Breakdown Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for delivering exceptional boiler services. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Diagnosing and repairing boiler breakdowns efficiently across our full coverage area. 2. Completing remedial work on existing installations to uphold quality standards. 3. Applying electrical knowledge, including fault-finding on 230v controls, wiring heating systems from scratch, and working with smart systems like Hive. 4. Effectively diagnosing and resolving system circulation issues. 5. Replacing 2/3 port valves, pumps, and occasionally TRVs, with a preference for using techniques such as system bungs or depressurization over full drain downs when appropriate. 6. Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring satisfaction at every interaction. 7. Driving extensively between appointments, with route support provided by our logistics team. 8. Up selling additional services and works to customers with commission opportunities This role requires a skilled, organized, and customer-focused individual with a passion for problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges. Minimum of 5 years of experience handling boiler breakdowns. 3. A full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. 4.
