Our client is an award-winning landscaping specialist delivering projects throughout the UK with a portfolio covering all sectors from local authorities, parks, schools and universities to developers, resulting in long-term client relationships based on trust and expert workmanship for project delivery. Due to our continued growth, they are recruiting an Estimator to work with the growing team. The position can be hybrid with a mix of working from home and the Head Office in Surrey.

The position will involve working with the Commercial Director preparing and submitting tender packages from £100k up to £5million. The projects involve working as the main contractor on a mixture of high quality hard and soft landscaping schemes.

They are looking for someone with previous experience in an estimating role who has the ability to work in a methodical manner, often under time restraints, whilst maintaining highly accurate attention to detail is key.

The Role:

  • Measuring PDF drawings and producing tender documents.
  • Helping the full Bid Submission.
  • Pricing bill of quantities, generally in excel format.
  • Identifying areas of risk during the tender process and liaising with the company Directors.
  • Attending meetings and site visits.
  • Communicating with the client and design team during the tender process and pre-start meetings.
