Our client is a market leader in drylining facades and recladding, collaborating with some of the largest and most prestigious construction companies in the UK. They take pride in delivering some of the industry's most interesting projects and are looking to hire a permanent, full-time Estimator based in Brentwood, Essex. This is a non Hybrid role.
As an Estimator you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates by measuring plans and project requirements and collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy and effective solutions. Daily tasks include reviewing project specifications, performing quantity take-offs, compiling cost data, coordinating with subcontractors, and presenting estimates to clients and directors.
About you:
- Proficient in preparing cost estimates and performing quantity take-offs
- 3/5 years of industry experience
- Strong understanding of drylining and/or facade materials and methods
- Experience with cost estimation software and tools
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with project teams
On offer: Salary range £55k-£70k dependant on experience + bonus + other lifestyle benefits.
