Area to be covered: Kent, London & Greater London
Remuneration: £50,000 - £65,000
We have a great opportunity for someone to join this expanding team! Our client is looking for someone who lives and breathes fire door safety. The role of the Project Manager - Fire Doors / Passive Fire Protection will involve:
- Overseeing fire door installations, fire door remedials, fire stopping, fire barriers and drylining projects
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Resourcing and helping to grow the team
- Ensuring that works are completed safely and to the requirements
- Preparing method statements, RAMS and H&S documents
- Regularly liaising with clients and resolving any issues that arise
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
- Attending site meetings where required
- Managing projects ranging in value from £1k to £500k
The ideal applicant will have:
- 3 years+ Project Management experience within the fire doors / passive fire protection market sector
- Sound technical understanding of fire doors and doorsets
- IT savvy (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification
- 3rd party accreditations (BMTrada / LPCB / Firas) - ideally
- High levels of organisation
- Ambitious individual who wants to build a career
