We have a great opportunity for someone to join this expanding team! Our client is looking for someone who lives and breathes fire door safety. Who knows all there is to know about fire doors, from installation to costs of supplies, what suppliers to use and who can help them build our own team of engineers and manage them, also keep our other fire contractors inline. To work in and out of the office and to take our fire brand to the next level.
The role will involve:
- Overseeing fire door installations, fire door remedials, fire stopping, fire barriers and drylining projects
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Resourcing and helping to grow the team
- Ensuring that works are completed safely and to the requirements
- Preparing method statements, RAMS and H&S documents
- Regularly liaising with clients and resolving any issues that arise
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
- Attending site meetings where required
- Managing projects ranging in value from £1k to £500k
The ideal applicant will have:
- 3 years+ Project Management experience within the fire doors / passive fire protection market sector
- Sound technical understanding of fire doors and doorsets
- IT savvy (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification
- 3rd party accreditations (BMTrada / LPCB / Firas) are ideal
- High levels of organisation
- Ambitious individual who wants to build a career
