This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding multi-disciplined practice working on a variety of public sector works projects. You will play a senior role in the delivery of project and professional services to a wide range of public and private sector clients, assisting with our further planned expansion into commercial work. This practice provides consultancy services across both the public and private sectors.
As the successful candidate, you will be experienced with schemes ranging from £1 - £20 Million, working with the Associate Quantity Surveyors on both Pre and Post Contract. The candidate will be given the experience needed in order to quickly take on responsibility for their own schemes that will suit their stage of development.
Day to day tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Cost Estimating to NRM1 standard
- Procurement and Tendering
- Working with JCT Suite of Contracts
- Project Financial Control and Reporting
- Valuations
- Risk Management
An understanding of all of the above will be required.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess an MRICS Accredited Quantity Surveying Degree with over 5 years experience working for a PQS firm
- Have an understanding of the tasks identified above.
