This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading industry client, they need an experienced asbestos surveyor - they have clients across Cambridge and Essex. This modern consultancy delivers exceptional service to clients using the latest equipment, working practices and technology.
Key responsibilities of the Asbestos Consultant:
- Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and building inspection
- Compliance with all relevant legislation
- Develop, maintain and build client relationships
- Visual inspection
- 4 stage clearance procedures
- Collection of factual and numerical data via tablet device
Requirements:
- BOHS P402 and/or BOHS P403/P404 (or equivalent)
- One plus years pre-existing experience of work within the asbestos consultancy industry is essential
- Any academic or vocational qualifications are highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and knowledge of current legislation
- Minimum 1 year relevant field experience
- Working with handheld tablets
- Hands-on experience of using tools and technical equipment (including IT)
- You must hold a full UK driving licence
Company Vehicle / Mobile Phone provided. Uniform. 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Access to additional training for further qualifications.
