About the Role
Are you an experienced kitchen manager looking for a fresh start in a more relaxed and sociable setting? Join our friendly team at Bubbles' World of Play, the UK's largest indoor children's play centre located in New Brighton Wirral. We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants the best of both worlds – a professional kitchen environment without the usual late nights and high-stress service of a busy restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations
- Staff Management: Recruit, train and schedule kitchen staff
- Lead with confidence and develop a strong team culture
- Food Quality & Safety: Ensure all food is freshly prepared, safely handled, and served to standards
- Maintain all relevant paperwork and checklists
- Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, place orders, reduce wastage
- Budget Management: Keep kitchen spending within budget
- Hygiene & Compliance: Uphold and enforce food hygiene, health and safety policies
- Day-to-Day Operations: Stay hands-on in the kitchen during peak periods

Working at Bubbles' World of Play can be lots of fun. You will get to meet lots of nice people and be part of a great team who all work together to create the best customer experience possible within our centre. The only downside is that it can be hard work! You are on your feet all day, and will need to be flexible with rotas and will be expected to work weekends and school holidays. All candidates must be willing to undergo any necessary health & police checks and satisfy all requirements. DBS checks will be required.
