Are you ready to kickstart your career in web design while learning from a supportive team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a web design apprentice! You’ll have the opportunity to learn the art of designing stunning, user-friendly websites while collaborating with our talented team and playing a key role in applying content throughout the design and development stages. This role is perfect for someone eager to build their skills and knowledge in website design while completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Hybrid (Minimum of 3 days a week at our Retford location)

What the role involves:
- Designing visually engaging and responsive websites using Figma
- Creating prototype links to present designs to clients and developers
- Collaborating with the development team to hand over website designs for build
- Testing and reviewing websites to identify and resolve any snags, ensuring they’re ready for launch
- Working closely with design and development teams to bring client visions to life
- Learning how to design responsive layouts that perform seamlessly across all devices
- Conducting market analysis, customer research, usage analytics, and gathering feedback
- Developing sitemaps, wireframes, user flows, process flows, and prototypes
- Executing all visual design stages, from initial concept to final delivery
- Designing lead generation and eCommerce websites
- Rolling out designs and applying content in Figma based on the approved templates
- Working with the development team to upload and populate content in WordPress
- Designing single page websites and landing pages and optimising for performance
What we’re looking for:
- A passion for web design and a creative eye for detail
- Basic knowledge of design tools (Figma or similar) is a plus, but not essential
- Familiarity with WordPress and page builders like Elementor or WP Bakery, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A willingness to learn, grow, and take on feedback
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
