My client is looking for an Electrical Project Manager. A well-established electrical building services contractor turning over in excess of £40M. They are looking for someone with experience on delivering commercial projects generally in the Oxford area.

Electrical Project Manager Position Overview

  • You will be responsible for the management of the full project life cycle from pre-con, through delivery, to project completion, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed limits for time, cost and quality.
  • The majority of projects are based in and around the Oxford area.
  • Responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects.
  • Create and execute plans and work breakdowns/revisions as appropriate.
  • Manage day-to-day project tasks.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, suppliers, and 3rd parties.
  • Communicate regular project updates internally and to clients.
  • Negotiate both internally and externally to resolve project risks and issues.
  • Manage project scope and change control.
  • Produce and maintain project initiation and management documents.
  • Provide consistent and reliable resourcing requirement.
  • Prepared to be hands on when required to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Carry out a full handover to client on project completion.

Electrical Project Manager Position Requirements

  • SMSTS and CSCS Card.
  • Considerable knowledge and experience of the full project life cycle and project management.
  • Previous experience working on a variety of commercial electrical projects.
  • 4 years' experience working within a similar role.
