· Implement business requests for change, responding to industry-driven demand for new business systems to cover government legislation
· Maintain all software and database objects in the appropriate source/version control systems
· Implement and maintain good practice around IT security measures applied to the IT business systems
· Communication with the wider business to gain their input into the system design
· Ensure all systems are updated on a regular basis, ensuring vulnerability is minimised
· Degree in IT or equivalent development experience
· Comprehensive experience of object orientated development using C# and VB.Net
· Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
· Experience with relational databases including Microsoft SQL server
· Excellent communication and relationship building skills
· Analytical thinker with the ability to break down complex problems
