Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic commercial and contractual support
  • Lead pre‑ and post‑contract duties across various models
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to drive performance
  • Ensure compliance with governance procedures
  • Share best practices and support continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth
  • Drive strategic initiatives that align with business objectives
  • Engage with stakeholders at executive level to build strong relationships
  • Oversee governance and risk management across multiple projects

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree: Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Membership: MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or MCICES (Member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors), or actively working towards accreditation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Network Rail standards and NEC contract frameworks.
  • Leadership: Proven line management experience, including team development and performance management.
  • Coaching & Development: Demonstrated ability and desire to coach, mentor, and upskill team members.
  • Project Delivery: Experience managing complex infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
