We are seeking a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team as an Apprentice Construction Site Supervisor. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical on-site experience while completing the NHBC Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship (36 months). The successful candidate will support site management in the coordination and supervision of construction activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the site
- Support coordination of subcontractors and site activities
- Monitor works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Assist in maintaining health and safety standards on site
- Carry out site inspections and report any issues
- Support quality control processes and snagging activities
- Maintain site records, including progress and deliveries
- Attend and participate in training as part of the apprenticeship programme
Requirements
- Must reside within the Lewisham area
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Interest in construction and the built environment
- Basic IT skills are desirable
- Transport desirable (not essential)
- Previous site experience or labouring background
