Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer (Electrical) shall be part of a team responsible for delivering the project engineering across a portfolio of grid connected renewable energy projects. This shall include:
- Design Co-ordination of electrical engineering packages: Co-ordinate the design inputs from all contractors responsible for design on site. Proactively identify design issues early and resolve these issues or escalate to the head of engineering. Lead design co-ordination meetings between all contractors focused on responsible engineering packages. Manage design register and provide regular updates to the project team. Manage contractors' due dates and ensure contractors deliver their required design deliverables correctly and on time.
- Document Control for electrical engineering packages: Manage all electrical drawings and calculations required for the project. Ensure correct and latest revisions of all drawings and calculations are used by all contractors in the design, development and construction of the project.
- Communicating Design Information between Contractors and to Site Team for one or more projects: Based on site for a minimum of 1 day a week during the construction phase on the project. Regular site visits to review design implementation.
