Position: Solicitor – Commercial Dispute Resolution
Location: Edinburgh (hybrid)
Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor (all levels considered) to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality commercial disputes while developing your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities includemanaging your own caseload and work alongside experienced colleagues including our Solicitor Advocates on a variety of commercial litigation matters, including:
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Urgent applications to the courts for interim orders including interdicts
- Debt recovery and enforcement
- Insolvency-related litigation
- Property and commercial disputes
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and strong analytical skills
- Have outstanding written and verbal communication and client care abilities
- Be capable of managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Show enthusiasm for business development and building lasting client relationships.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Be familiar with using Adobe PRO to create, paginate and hyperlink PDF documents
- Be capable of working under time pressure when required
