A day in the life of a BTO trainee…

The BTO Trainees’ Groupshot

It\’s not all hard work… Here\’s the Duke of Wellington and our most recent intake of bright young talent getting ready for their close up! What a fun afternoon and the result is worthy of a Vogue cover. Thanks Headshots Scotland!

BTO Away Day 2024

We launched our refreshed values at our recent firmwide Away Day. Positive energy and great teamwork!

I would definitely recommend a traineeship at BTO for anyone who wants to train with a firm which is enthusiastic about developing junior staff and affording them a valuable and positive traineeship.

As a BTO trainee, I was given the opportunity to work closely with Partners and Solicitors across the firm who are specialists in their fields. My colleagues were willing to share their insights into the challenges faced by our clients and the solutions we can provide. They trusted me with substantive and interesting tasks from day one. Thanks to this supportive environment, I grew in confidence and felt ready to fully qualify as a solicitor!

From its technical infrastructure, to its people, BTO has shown consistent commitment towards growth and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of that over these many years.
