We’re seeking an ambitious, results‑driven Relationship Manager to join our growing Asset Finance division at BTG. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced asset finance professional who thrives on performance, values long‑term client relationships, and delivers exceptional customer service.
You’ll join a high‑performing team with access to a broad and expanding panel of funding providers, in a fast‑paced environment where your impact is visible and rewarded.
You’ll be responsible for driving new business, developing trusted client and introducer relationships, and managing finance transactions end‑to‑end — from initial enquiry through to payout.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business through networking, outreach, and market activity
- Build strong relationships across BTG to grow introducer and referral networks
- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients to maximise repeat business
- Work with professional introducers, vendors, and funding partners
- Deliver tailored finance solutions across asset finance, property finance, invoice finance, vehicle management, business loans, and wider BTG services
- Originate and structure both standard and complex finance transactions
- Manage deals through credit approval, documentation, and completion
- Collaborate closely with underwriting and credit teams
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining strong credit quality
- Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecasts, and reporting
- Proven success in asset finance or related financial services sales
- Strong B2B sales and relationship management experience
- Good understanding of the asset finance market and funding structures
- Experience working with introducers or channel partners (desirable)
- Confident negotiator with strong closing ability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex finance solutions clearly
- Understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk
- High attention to detail and strong documentation standards
- Comfortable using CRM and sales management tools
