The FP&A Executive will be a key member of the newly established Group FP&A function, supporting the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis across the business. This role will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and management reporting, helping drive data-led decision-making and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis, and board level presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Support group budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with finance business partners to gather and challenge assumptions.
- Build, maintain and improve financial models to assist scenario planning and strategic decision-making.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to develop KPIs and dashboards for performance tracking, investigating variances and underlying drivers.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support business cases, investment decisions and strategic projects.
- Support financial due diligence process for M&A activity.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance accuracy and automate reporting.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar financial analysis role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel capability, including complex formulas and Power Query.
- Experience in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
