- Independently manage a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, CVAs, and bankruptcies, from inception to closure.
- Ensure statutory deadlines are met and compliance with insolvency legislation and company procedures.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including creditors, debtors, solicitors, and financial institutions, to progress cases effectively.
- Provide investigation support and become a key member of the CIT liaising with the team via teams and in person on a daily basis.
- Play an active role in communicating within the team and across the wider Group.
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Keep up to date with changes in insolvency legislation, regulations, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the wider team.
- Support Partners and senior management in complex case matters and contribute to case strategy discussions.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct complex investigations including analysing bank statements, accounting packages and other information to form a view on the enquiries that need to be made of directors.
- Strong track record of managing insolvency cases independently.
- In-depth knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures, particularly in corporate insolvency.
- Proficiency in IPS (or similar software) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive and curious approach with a strong sense of accountability and problem-solving skills.
- Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) or equivalent qualification.
