Credit Manager – Nottingham (NG8) – Office Based

Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:15

Are you an experienced Credit professional ready to lead the credit function and manage risk at a senior level? We are partnering with a well-established Nottingham business seeking a confident Credit Manager to take ownership of the credit function, oversee the sales ledger and drive improvements across credit processes, systems and risk management. This role offers the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, shape credit policies and make a visible impact on cash flow and business performance.

In This Credit Manager Role You Will:

  • Take full ownership of the credit control function and sales ledger
  • Manage and support one Credit Controller
  • Set and manage credit policies and procedures
  • Assess credit risk and approve credit limits
  • Proactively manage aged debt and DSO performance
  • Improve credit control processes and reporting
  • Optimise systems including Microsoft Business Central
  • Provide credit insight and reporting to senior leadership

You will be the go-to person for credit, bringing structure, strong risk management and commercial awareness to the function.

  • Proven B2B credit control or credit management experience
  • Experience managing a full sales ledger
  • Strong credit risk and credit limit management experience
  • Experience improving credit processes or systems
  • Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
