Are you a corporate tax professional looking for a broader in-house role with genuine international exposure? The role will suit someone with strong UK corporate tax experience who wants to develop their career in a supportive, collaborative in-house tax team.
This is a permanent position, created to strengthen the tax team and provide additional support during a period of change. You will benefit from a structured handover, experienced tax leaders around you, and long-term opportunity within a growing group function.
The Role
As Senior Tax Analyst / Assistant Tax Manager, you will support a broad range of corporate tax activity across the group, with a primary focus on UK corporate tax. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting UK corporate tax compliance across multiple entities
- Assisting with tax provisioning and group tax reporting
- Gathering, reviewing and analysing data for tax reporting purposes
- Supporting tax related projects, including financing arrangements and transfer pricing
- Helping maintain and improve tax controls, documentation and reporting processes
- Coordinating tax deliverables across jurisdictions
- Supporting governance and compliance requirements across the group
- Liaising with external advisors where required
- Working closely with the wider tax team, finance colleagues and senior stakeholders
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with experience in corporate tax, gained either in practice, industry, or a combination of both. You may currently be working as a:
- Senior Tax Analyst
- Tax Analyst
- Assistant Tax Manager
- Corporate Tax Senior
- Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
- Group Tax Analyst
- Tax Accountant
You will need:
- UK corporate tax experience
- Experience supporting corporate tax compliance, reporting or provisioning
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
- A genuine interest in developing within a broader in-house tax role
Experience within an international group would be advantageous, as would exposure to transfer pricing, tax reporting or US GAAP. These are beneficial rather than essential. A Big Four or larger professional services background would also be highly regarded, particularly for someone looking to make the move into industry.
