A hybrid role based in Manchester, seeking a commercially minded Part-Time Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner for an ambitious SME in the construction sector.
Salary: Up to £60,000 pro rata
Hours: 3 days per week
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will act as a trusted financial partner, supporting senior management with key financial insights and decision-making. You will take ownership of core finance activities including management accounts and cashflow forecasting, while also contributing to strategic discussions and presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly management accounts to senior management
- Lead cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
- Attend and contribute to client and senior management meetings (a couple of times per month)
- Provide commercial insight and financial guidance to support decision-making
- Utilise systems such as Xero for financial reporting and analysis
- Ideally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Experience within construction or manufacturing sectors, ideally in an SME environment
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in management accounting and forecasting
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior management
- Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment
- Experience with Xero is desirable
- Must be based in the North West
- Part-time, flexible working (3 days per week)
- Hybrid working model with occasional travel to Manchester / Central Manchester
