Are you a hands-on Financial Controller who enjoys improving processes, developing teams and providing meaningful commercial insight?

A well-established group based in Lincoln is seeking a Group Financial Controller to oversee the financial management and control of two businesses.

Reporting to senior leadership and managing two Finance Managers, you will ensure accurate reporting, robust financial controls, effective cash-flow management and the delivery of commercially useful financial insight.

This is a broad role combining strategic input with hands-on financial control.

You will work closely with operational leaders, helping them understand financial performance and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall financial responsibility across two businesses.
  • Lead the monthly management accounts and reporting process.
  • Manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts and cash-flow forecasting.
  • Analyse revenue, margins, costs, EBITDA and profitability.
  • Strengthen financial controls, processes and balance-sheet integrity.
  • Oversee working capital, credit control and aged debt.
  • Provide commercial insight for pricing, contracts and investment decisions.
  • Coordinate year-end, audit and statutory compliance.
  • Lead and develop two Finance Managers.
  • Improve financial systems, reporting and automation.
