- Improving reporting and management information
- Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders

- Supporting the CFO with wider finance projects and continued business growth
A particularly important part of the role will be ensuring strong financial control around stock.
The business is also developing bonded and customs warehouse operations, so previous experience of bonded warehousing, excise duty, customs or other regulated stock environments would be particularly valuable.
The person
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or Head of Finance who enjoys remaining close to the detail.
You are likely to have:
- Strong Financial Controller-level experience
- Experience within an SME or fast-moving business
- Strong stock and inventory accounting knowledge
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail or another stockholding environment
- Strong cash flow and working capital experience
- Experience managing and developing a finance team
- Exposure to multiple companies or entities
- A track record of improving financial controls and processes
- Strong Excel skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
Experience of bonded warehouses, customs, excise-controlled products or regulated stock would be a significant advantage, although it is not essential.
Why consider it?
This is a role with real scope to make an impact.
You will work closely with an experienced CFO while retaining significant responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, team and controls.
It offers the opportunity to join a growing business undergoing significant change, improve the finance function and play an important part in developing reporting, stock control, cash management and processes across the group.
It should particularly appeal to someone who enjoys the pace and variety of an SME and wants a senior finance role where they can still see the direct impact of the work they do,
