HR Assistant – HR & Recruitment Support
Location: Leicester – office-based
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
BTG Recruitment is working with a growing health and social care organisation in Leicester to recruit an experienced HR Assistant to join their head office team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable HR Assistant who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and wants to work closely with an HR Manager in a busy, people-focused environment.
The successful HR Assistant will support both day-to-day HR operations and recruitment activity and will play a key role in the smooth running of the HR function. This role would suit an HR Assistant who already has practical HR administration experience and is confident dealing with people, particularly over the phone.
The role – HR Assistant
As the HR Assistant, you will work directly with the HR Manager and support the full employee lifecycle. The HR Assistant will be responsible for:
- Supporting recruitment activity, including advertising vacancies, booking interviews and preparing documentation
- Managing onboarding and compliance processes, including right to work checks and DBS applications
