Interim Management Accountant 6–12 Month Maternity Cover | Hybrid | Horncastle (Lincolnshire)

We're working with a UK manufacturing business that requires an Interim Management Accountant to provide maternity cover on a 6–12 month contract. This assignment is about keeping the engine running — taking ownership of month-end, ensuring continuity of reporting, and supporting operational teams while a key member of the finance team is on leave.

The Assignment

As Interim Management Accountant, you will step into an established role and quickly take responsibility for core management accounting activities. This is a hands-on interim assignment, focused on delivery rather than long-term change, with no people management and clear scope from day one.

Key deliverables include:

  • Ownership of monthly management accounts
  • Accruals, prepayments, and journals
  • Bank reconciliations and payment processing
  • Supporting cash flow submissions
  • Acting as the finance point of contact for operational managers
  • Maintaining business-as-usual reporting and insight

Who This Will Suit

This role is ideal for an Interim Management Accountant who:

  • Is comfortable taking over a live workload with minimal handover

  • Is fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), part-qualified, or QBE
