A well-established manufacturing company based in the Ripley area is seeking a Finance Manager to join the business in a key senior finance position, reporting directly to the Financial Director. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, covering management accounts, costing, stock, and operational finance, while also supporting reporting into a larger international group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Full month-end close including balance sheet reconciliations
- Standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis
- BOM maintenance and stock accounting
- Oversight of AP, AR, and day-to-day finance operations
- VAT returns and statutory reporting
- Group reporting and audit support
- Supervision and development of the finance team
- Process and controls improvement across finance operations
Requirements:
- Strong manufacturing finance background essential
- Experience with standard costing, BOMs, stock and WIP
- Strong understanding of manufacturing variances and inventory accounting
- Experience producing management accounts and leading month-end processes
- Previous team leadership experience
- Qualified or qualified by experience considered
