This is an excellent opportunity to join the group tax function of a large, UK-headquartered international manufacturing business. The role will suit someone with strong UK corporate tax experience who wants to develop their career in a supportive, collaborative in-house tax team. You may already be working in industry, or you may be in practice and looking for your first move into an in-house role. This is a permanent position, created to strengthen the tax team and provide additional support during a period of change. You will benefit from a structured handover, experienced tax leaders around you, and long-term opportunity within a growing group function.
The Role
As Senior Tax Analyst / Assistant Tax Manager, you will support a broad range of corporate tax activity across the group, with a primary focus on UK corporate tax. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting UK corporate tax compliance across multiple entities
- Assisting with tax provisioning and group tax reporting
- Gathering, reviewing and analysing data for tax reporting purposes
- Supporting tax related projects, including financing arrangements and transfer pricing
- Helping maintain and improve tax controls, documentation and reporting processes
- Coordinating tax deliverables across jurisdictions
- Supporting governance and compliance requirements across the group
- Liaising with external advisors where required
- Working closely with the wider tax team, finance colleagues and senior stakeholders
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with experience in corporate tax, gained either in practice, industry, or a combination of both. You may currently be working as a:
- Senior Tax Analyst
- Tax Analyst
- Assistant Tax Manager
- Corporate Tax Senior
- Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
- Group Tax Analyst
- Tax Accountant
You will need:

- Experience supporting corporate tax compliance, reporting or provisioning
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
- A genuine interest in developing within a broader in-house tax role
Experience within an international group would be advantageous, as would exposure to transfer pricing, tax reporting or US GAAP. These are beneficial rather than essential. A Big Four or larger professional services background would also be highly regarded, particularly for someone looking to make the move into industry.
Why Apply?
This is a strong opportunity for a corporate tax professional who wants more breadth, visibility and long-term development. You will be joining an established group tax team where you can build on your technical experience while gaining exposure to wider commercial and international tax matters.
Package includes:
- £55,000 to £60,000 salary
- 10% bonus
- Hybrid working, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 5% employer pension match
- Support from experienced in-house tax leaders
- Exposure to UK and international tax matters
