A well-established business based in Burton upon Trent is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of accounting responsibilities, supporting month-end processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end accounting processes
- Supporting the preparation of accounts to trial balance
- Completing VAT returns
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate financial records
- Assisting with financial reporting and wider finance team activities
About You:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
