Position Overview
Support the Equity Long/Short systematic portfolio within BTG Pactual Global Asset Management by combining trading execution with quantitative and development expertise.
Responsibilities
- Execution: Execute daily trades for the Equity Long/Short systematic portfolio.
- Quantitative Tools: Develop and maintain statistical tools to control portfolio performance and monitor risk metrics.
- Collaboration: Partner with middle-office, back-office, and tech support teams on daily tasks and projects.
- Infrastructure & Data: Manage and optimize the model database and backend infrastructure, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the end-to-end development lifecycle of proprietary trading models and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Programming: High proficiency in Python and C#.
- Data Management: Strong SQL skills and experience with database management.
- Storage Architecture: Familiarity with efficient data formats, such as Parquet files.
- Cloud: Experience deploying or managing workflows in AWS.
- Quant Knowledge: A solid grasp of statistics and its application to portfolio management.
- Financial Markets: Knowledge of the listed equities market.
- Seniority: 1-3 years of work experience.
