The Role: This role involves supporting the growth of the bank’s commodities franchise across Europe and internationally through counterparty development, transaction origination, and trade execution. Working closely with origination, trading, and structuring teams, the role will expand market access, increase transaction flow, and strengthen relationships across commodity markets and trading counterparties.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Expand the bank’s network of counterparties across European energy and commodity markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with trading counterparties and key market participants.
  • Originate, negotiate, and execute transactions across power, gas, environmental, and related commodity markets.
  • Grow transaction flow by onboarding new counterparties and deepening existing relationships.
  • Partner with trading and structuring teams to deliver and execute trading opportunities.
  • Ensure transactions are executed in line with the business mandate, risk parameters, and governance framework established by management.
