BTG Eddisons is seeking a capable and commercially minded Property Manager to join our growing Property Management team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established, national consultancy, supporting the delivery of high-quality management services across a varied commercial and mixed-use portfolio. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring assets are managed efficiently and in line with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and responsive property management service to a portfolio of clients
- Prepare and manage annual service charge budgets, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Oversee the day-to-day management of communal areas within managed properties
- Monitor service charge expenditure and income, maintaining robust financial records
- Act as a key point of contact for leaseholder and client enquiries
- Procure and manage contractors, undertake regular site inspections, and prepare scopes/schedules of works
- Support the onboarding of new instructions, including meeting prospective clients
- Work collaboratively with agency and lettings teams to support wider business objectives
- Manage insurance renewals, claims, and major works projects in line with client requirements
About You
- Proven experience within commercial or residential property management
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple instructions
- Confident negotiator with a client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in financial matters
- Good working knowledge of property management systems and Microsoft Office
Professional Qualifications
- Ideally holding or working towards:
- TPI (The Property Institute)
- AssocRICS / MRICS (RICS)
Technical Knowledge
- Solid understanding of:
- Health & Safety legislation and compliance
- Building maintenance, construction, and repair processes
