The Opportunity: We are looking for an ARB-qualified Architect to join our Leeds office, playing a key role in the delivery of education, public and commercial sector projects across Yorkshire and the wider UK. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact school and education developments, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative design solutions from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on architectural design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
  • Translate client requirements into practical, compliant design solutions
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, DfE guidance and relevant industry standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Engage and nurture client/stakeholder relationships
  • Support planning and statutory submissions
  • Attend and lead meetings, design workshops and stakeholder consultations
  • Promote sustainability and efficiency in all design solutions
  • Contribute to successful project outcomes through strong coordination and communication
  • Help develop and provide training for junior team members

Skills & Experience:

  • Fully qualified Architect and ARB registered.
  • Strong UK project experience, ideally within education, public sector and commercial projects
  • Knowledge of education design standards and building bulletins (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Revit/CAD and associated design tools
  • Strong technical capability across multiple RIBA stages
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK when needed to support regional offices
