The Role of Executive Assistant
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a key role within the organisation's executive function, providing high‑level support to the CEO and wider Leadership Team. As Executive Assistant, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the organisation by coordinating leadership activity, governance processes, organisational communications, and strategic priorities. Acting as a trusted coordination point, you will support the CEO in managing competing priorities, maintaining strategic focus, and ensuring clear communication both internally and externally.
The role includes responsibility for diary and meeting management, preparing reports and briefing papers, coordinating projects and organisational priorities, supporting governance and Board administration, arranging travel and events, and maintaining oversight of key actions and deadlines across the organisation. You will also work closely with Trustees, senior stakeholders, artists, partners, visiting companies and colleagues across all departments, helping to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the organisation. In addition, you will line‑manage the Arts Administrator and support the continued development of efficient administrative systems and processes.

Qualifications and Experience
- Highly organised, proactive and professional individuals with experience supporting senior leaders in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent organisational, communication, judgement, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and confidence.
- Experience supporting senior leadership teams, Boards or governance structures.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience coordinating meetings, reports, agendas and minutes.
- Experience within the arts, cultural or charitable sectors is advantageous but not essential.
