About the Role
Your role, SDR
- Youβll become an expert at matching BT propositions and solutions to the needs of SME businesses.
- Opportunity generation - initiating interactions with customers by outbound calling, emails, and LinkedIn to gain a thorough understanding of their business.
- Creating new sales leads and working closely with the field sales team.
- Engaging with decision makers via outbound calling activity.
- Closing sales to secure new or additional business.
- Selling the full range of BT products and services, up-selling and cross-selling.
- Managing & building strong customer relationships.
- Using our CRM system (Salesforce) to input and update information.
Requirements, Skills and Attributes
- A successful track record in sales.
- Self-motivated and results driven.
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills, with confidence making outbound calls.
- Confidence and resilience when handling objections and challenging conversations.
- Hungry for success and progression.
- Enthusiasm and able to learn quickly.
- Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases, along with accurate data entry.
