You'll be joining a specialist security team that is a trusted partner to governments worldwide, protecting critical national infrastructure and committed to the safety and security of our nation and global communities. This role is based in London, onsite five days a week, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance before starting this role and will need to have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible.
What you'll be doing:
- Be hands on in the build and development of world class secure cloud-based solutions as part of an agile delivery team.
- Lead the design of cloud solutions.
- Work directly with our customers to understand their requirements.
- Work with support teams to enable management and monitoring of cloud-based systems, and their ongoing support.
- Provide third line support to deployed cloud-based solutions.
- Line manage several more junior members of the team, assisting them in their professional development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS cloud services, including compute and appropriate managed services.
- Experience in developing for cloud with iterative full-stack development in languages such as Node.js or Python.
- Experience delivering Kubernetes or AWS EKS solutions.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
- Experience managing or mentoring more junior colleagues.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Experience automating management and maintenance activities to support BAU tasks in complex systems environments (e.g., new cloud account creation, bulk user management, environment housekeeping, monitoring and compliance).
- Familiarity with microservice and container-based deployment strategies and a zero-trust security model.
- Some experience migrating on-prem solutions to AWS.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
