Sitting within the Financial Services, After Sales & Security team as part of the wider Consumer organisation. They define and deliver standout products to ensure momentum and value growth for Consumer within Payments, After Sales, Insurance, and Security. They own the strategy, delivery, and in-life performance of products. The Payments Product Manager is key to the development and performance of EE\’s hardware payment portfolio, supporting the definition of development roadmaps as well as optimizing and developing in-life payment solutions. The role involves working across consumer lending, Buy Now Pay Later products, and other payment methods, collaborating closely with regulated finance partners to ensure optimal customer and commercial outcomes. Additionally, the role supports the Financial Services Propositions Senior Manager in developing and delivering the EE Ways to Pay strategy, crucial for EE\’s growth in Telco and New Markets.
What you\’ll be doing
- Driving performance across EE payment solutions by working with stakeholders to prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensuring the delivery of new product developments and optimizing existing payment methods with a focus on customer experience and FCA regulatory compliance across all channels.
- Managing cross-functional teams to deliver change, involving internal and external partners.
- Creating and utilizing reports and insights to drive continuous improvement in KPIs.
- Collaborating with FCA-regulated partners to develop compliant Go-to-Market plans for Financial Services products, ensuring alignment with Channels and Service.
- Supporting the development of the Ways to Pay strategy and driving P&L delivery, with experience in managing the full lifecycle of financial products, especially Buy Now Pay Later or similar.
- Delivering change and performance improvements within a regulated environment, tracking product performance, and implementing action plans.
- Engaging and influencing a wide range of stakeholders, both externally (customers, third-party providers) and internally at all levels.
- Communicating clearly and concisely through presentations, data analysis, emails, and calls.
- Demonstrating commercial acumen and financial literacy to develop and present customer-focused financial propositions.
The BT group operates a 3-2 flexible working model, requiring presence at the contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days.
