What You’ll be Doing:
- Provide leadership on Agile / ITIL processes and be a decision maker within the security team; advising those who will be working directly with yourself on best practices and able to support from a 3rd Line perspective.
- Develop peers and colleagues within the team through mentoring and leadership providing trustworthy honest feedback.
- Produce and support policies, functions and configuration builds to allow implementation of customer projects.
- Complete and own integration testing on new products and services, producing all relevant supporting documentation.
- Ensure full awareness of the need to always safeguard sensitive customer information, so that customers perceive BT to be a trustworthy organisation.
Skills We Require Of You:
- Experience in agile, lean, evidence-based and human-centred design frameworks.
- Able to simplify complex ideas and communicate them clearly.
- Design user journeys, service maps, documentation, user flows and wireframes.
- Motivated team player and able to work collaboratively building features that impact customers.
- You are motivated by owning production platforms, products, from inception to continuous improvement.
What we’d like to see on your CV:
- PCNSE / CCNP or equivalent professional level certification.
- Experience in network automation - prototyping and testing potential solutions and understanding how to run lean and iterate continuously.
- Experience as a senior engineer, or technical lead, interfacing directly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience of troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and associated technologies.
