Why this job matters
As a Senior Commercial Manager for Propositions and Go-to-Market, you will lead the strategic development and execution of our business propositions across connectivity, digital workplaces, mobile, and security. You are accountable for what we launch and how we launch new propositions to market, maximizing market impact. You will leverage deep market insight and customer trends to shape compelling positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, leading coordination with stakeholders across S&C and the wider BT Business unit to ensure delivery against agreed timelines and support our strategic growth ambitions.
What you'll be doing
- Define and own the strategy for business propositions across connectivity, digital workplaces, mobile, and security, informed by customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Shape compelling positioning and messaging that clearly differentiates our propositions and drives market impact.
- Own the execution of go-to-market plans and steer the propositions roadmap, coordinating with internal stakeholders across the business to deliver against agreed timelines.
- Manage and optimize business propositions throughout their lifecycle, from ideation through retirement.
- Lead the proposition team and influence across the wider organisation—managing direct reports, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving outcomes with Business Planning and Commercial Strategy teams.

- Extensive experience in strategic value proposition development, informed by deep customer insights, market analysis, and competitive dynamics.
- Strong market research and analysis capability, with proven ability to interpret customer trends and inform strategic decision-making.
- Strategic positioning and messaging expertise, translating proposition value into compelling narratives that differentiate and drive market impact.
- Proven ability to lead the end-to-end execution of complex go-to-market plans, managing and influencing multiple stakeholders to deliver against ambitious timelines.
- Experience leading teams (directly or indirectly), with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to align senior stakeholders and drive progress across the organisation.
