What You'll Be Doing

  • Leads cloud system design activities and/or reviews system designs to assure that solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
  • Manages automation initiatives of cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, self‐service, infrastructure‐as‐code services, auto‐scale initiatives, and DevOps deployment.
  • Communicates with key stakeholders to influence the adoption of cloud‐native systems and helps to inform stakeholders on how to use platform capabilities effectively through appropriate venue.
  • Delivers consultative advice through advanced technical knowledge on system architecture and recommends solutions in alignment with systems engineering best practices.
  • Leads the collaboration with quality assurance and technical writers to complete the development cycle.
  • Leads the collaboration with business stakeholders and product owners to scope and de‐risk development activities in advance.
  • Executes complex data analyses to make decisions on where to invest and iterate on efficiency and cloud management tools.
  • Drives a risk‐aware culture, and ensures efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
  • Ensures efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identifies, analyses, and resolves complex infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues independently.
  • Champions continuous development and shares knowledge on emerging trends and changes in cloud engineering best practices and industry standards.
  • Mentors other cloud engineers, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.

What You'll Bring

Mandatory

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon, etc.).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud‐native applications in OpenStack environments.
  • 3+ years of hands‐on experience with OpenStack deployment and operations.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems administration.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in OpenStack environments.
  • Hands‐on expertise with tools such as Microsoft AD CS, HashiCorp Vault, OpenSSL, and HSMs (Hardware Security Modules).
  • Experience integrating PKI with identity and access management (IAM), cloud platforms, and secure communications.
  • Ability to assess and remediate PKI‐related risks, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to support PKI operations in complex, hybrid environments.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service and managing multiple accounts to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Hands‐on expertise with infrastructure technologies, including automation, ESM, and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in customer solution design and architecture.

Nice to have

  • Experience with OpenStack APIs and custom automation scripting (Python, Bash).
  • Deep understanding of cryptographic protocols, certificate lifecycle management, and key management systems.
  • Experience in designing and deploying networking solutions to meet client technical and business requirements.
