In the Brand Manager role, you will collaborate with all areas of the business, serving as their go-to expert on our brands. Your responsibilities include working with the advertising team on campaigns, ensuring correct messaging to customers, and supporting internal communications for live events by guiding asset usage and solving creative challenges. Additionally, you will help develop our brands to ensure they remain relevant and innovative for our customers and products. This role offers variety and is supported by a creative, caring team passionate about our brands and their perception.
What you\’ll be doing
- Embedding our brand vision, experience, identity, and creative platform into all activities.
- Establishing and leading brand governance processes, ensuring compliance with EE brand guidelines.
- Providing creative consultation and sign-off across all communications, including external, internal, events, retail, digital, and training.
- Managing and evolving our brand guidelines and assets.
- Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support brand-led projects.
- Partnering with internal teams and agencies to enhance brand delivery and experience.
- Developing campaign support materials tailored to various channels.
- Collaborating with the Trademarking team to protect brand identity.
- Leading brand induction development and delivery, including structured sign-up processes.
- Aligning new products, services, and partnerships with our brand vision in collaboration with the strategy team.
- Mentoring and supporting the Assistant Brand Manager.
Candidate profile
- Confident, collaborative team player with a passion for marketing and branding.
- Strong understanding and experience with brands.
- Proven experience in creative briefing and marketing communication problem-solving.
- Deep knowledge of the creative process and brand assets\’ business value.
- Successful track record in impactful brand and marketing initiatives.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Decisive, proactive, and capable of ownership and consensus-building.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Solid understanding of marketing mix, brand strategy, visual identity, and corporate branding.
- Commercially and creatively astute with good judgment in creative evaluation.
- Strong design sensibility and copywriting skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Committed to results, collaboration, and innovation.
- Design, marketing, or design management qualifications are desirable.
